Fortunately, the Board of Supervisors has again increased Library funding for the coming fiscal year. The Board has agreed to an increase of 13 percent or $41,704.77, up from $36,834.00 last year. The Friends of the Rappahannock County Library are working on several fund raisers for the coming year including the future book sale. State funding will go up 26 percent to $16,165.00 this year.

Over the past two years the Rappahannock Library has had a 75 percent increase in the number of books being checked our of the library. If you haven’t been into your library come on down. If you have suggestions or comments, please fill the suggestion box. The library is there for you.
