For grade three Alex Punell took first prize for his project on the life cycle of salamanders. In the fourth grade division Casey Longyear took third place for a project growing crystals. In the fifth grade division Jimmy Favereau won first place for his project on the bone structure of horses. In addition that grade hosted a room of hands-on experiments and games entitled “Passport to Science.”
. The sixth grade hosted an earth science museum with exhibits including artifacts, posters, displays, books and models.
. In the upper school division’s biology category Andrew Inglis won first place for a comparison of protein in the web silk of different species of spiders. In the miscellaneous division Welby Lynn won first place for her study of the antibiotic properties of selected natural foods and spices.
