School Concert

The Rappahannock County Elementary School Bands and Choir will present their concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16 in the R.C.E.S. auditorium. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a pizza dinner to support the seventh grade. Then, three bands and a com-, bined choir will perform a variety of selections. A reception will follow the finale of Good King Wenceslas.

Bereavement Group To Meet

The Bereavement Support Group sponsored by The Hospice of the Rapidan will meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Washington Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Please call 825-4840 for further information.

The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department now has cookbooks on sale for $6 each. See any member to receive yours.

Community Calendars Available

The Rappahannock County Community Calendars produced by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department are available for purchase. The calendars contain many community organization’s activities and the school dates for the upcoming school year, as well as numerous birthdays and anniversaries. Calendars can be purchased for $3.50 for one or $5 for two. A special thank you to all the local businesses who bought ads for the calendar.
