4-H Camp for Colverbuds

Youth can develop an appreciation for an and understanding of others through an international theme indoor camp experience Jan. 28-30. Participants will attend classes in foods, crafts, music, and reo reation, planned around this theme. Other special events, including an indoor campfire, will highlight the weekend and carry out the theme;. The cost of the weekend is $47. .

Adult and teen volunteers are being recruited and may attend the weekend at a reduced rate. Applications are available from your local extension office now, and need to be completed and received by thfc Northern District 4-H Center by Jan. 1, 1994. Parents may participate with the child in this event, but do need to register in advance.

Walk-in Clinics

A December walk-in clinic will be held at the Rappahannock Health Department from 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 21.

The Health Department will be closed December 23, 24, 30 and 31.

Adopt-A-Child Tree

Girl Scout Troops of the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council will have a Giving Tree at the Rappahannock Library to adopt-a-child at Christmas for a gift. Gifts are to be taken to Social Services Office by Dec. 17.

LFCC Class at High School

Aerobic Fitness I (Course . PED103) is the next class in the Office Systems Technology Program (Administrative Assistance Specialization) offered by Lord Fairfax Communtiv College at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. The two credit class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursday, beginning Jan. 11 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $88 ($44 per credit).
