The third and final layer will be the visible web. It will include things that compete in the process of keeping us alive. The border of the mural will be drawings and other artwork of the students’ ancestors. Some of these ancestors are Edgar Allan Poe, Lyndon Baines Johnson, James Monroe, and Frances Marian, the Swamp Fox.
Ms. Marshall has also based a lot of the mural’s design on the beliefs of Mitch Waldrop, author of Complexity.
