Are you looking for a gift for a family member or friend who’s on a special diet? If you’re like me, the gift catalogs have been rolling in and lots of them contain delicious-looking

gourmet food items. But most of us have at least one person in our family on a special diet (i.e. diabetic, high blood pressure, low-fat or lowcholesterol,

vegetarian). Or, perhaps it’s just someone wrho want to eat healthier and/or shred a few pounds for their New Year’s resolution. So, it occurred to me that instead of giving a deluxe food item to that person this year, it might be, kinder to give them a nutritionoriented cookbook.
