At an organizational meeting last Thursday, county Democrats elected Kent Reeve to an additional two-year term as local party chairman.
Franklin Schmidt was elected vice-chairman, Margie White was elected secretary and Ethel Bailey was elected treasurer.
In addition the local Democrats are putting together a county committee with representatives in all the election districts.
“We’ve had a very tough year,” Mr. Reeve told the group gathered for the meeting. “The time for grieving is over. It’s time to put that aside and get back to work.”
