Joan Battaglia
Joan Aylor Battaglia, 61, of Queens, N.Y. died Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Long Island Jewish Hospital.
A eulogy service was held on Friday with family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 11 at James Romanelli Stephen Funeral Home in Ozone Park, N.Y.
Interment was at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Long Island, N.Y.
She was bom on Nov. 19, 1932, in Rappahannock County to the late Herman H. and Anna R. Aylor.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Battaglia; a son, Angelo Battaglia or Orlando, Fla,; a daughter, Joanna Battaglia at home; a sister, Mary Ann Cozzo of Falls Church and a brother, Larry R. Aylor of Sperryville and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Aylor and Herman H. Aylor Jr.
