Christmas Food Drive In an attempt to help children realize that giving can be as re-, warding as receiving, a Christmas food drive has teen organized at the. Elementary School. Participation is voluntary. Families that receive the supplies will be anonymous. ! Food and supplies will be collected through Dec. 20 in the lobby of the Elementary School before and after school in drop off boxes. { Suggestions of what we are looking for: canned goods, coloring books, sewing kits, toothbrushes, notebookes, pencils, crayons, mittens, hats, scarves, first aid supplies, paper towels, drinks, cereal,' soup, puzzles, books and soap. Only new items, please! ) We are not looking for fresh fruit or vegetables because of spoilage. j Help us share the joy of Christmas with others in your community. Breakfast and Santa at WVFD A buffet breakfast will be held at Washington fire hall from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18. i The all-you-can-eat buffet will include sausage, bacon, homemade biscuits, gravy, French toast, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, frier} apples, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. ; Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children. All proceeds will benefit the Washington Fire Department. | Santa will also be available with his horses and will give sleigh of wagon rides.
Citrus Fruit Pickup The Rappahannock County Music Boosters will be distributing citrus fruit at the Farmer’s Co-op warehouse across from the school board office. You may pick up your fruit order during the following times, from 2 to 4:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 8 to 11:45' a.m. on Saturday. If you can not pick up your fruit during these times) please contact your student salesperson or leave a message for Wendy Whitford at 987-8259. Also, extra citrus fruit is still avialable. Santa At Viewtown - Santa will be coming to Viewtown Store at 7 p.m. on Friday, Deci 17. Come and help decorate the tree with Santa and eiyoy refresh*ments.
