Apple Blossom Festival
Katie Couric, co-anchor of the “Today” show will be grand marshall of the 67th Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester April 28 through May 1, James Robinson, president of the festival announced.
Liza Huber, daughter of actress and soap star Susan Lukki and businessman/theatrical manager Helmut Huber, will be Queen Shenandoah LXVII.
Miss Huber is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dulles Ramp Closed
The mid-level ramp at Dulles Airport will be closed during construction of extensions on either end of the main terminal. A wider 10-lane section for traffic will be open at the lower, parking lot level.
