Blood Pressure Checks by Marion Sharp of Rappahannock County Health Department at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 12; How to read New Food Labels by FDA and USD A/Presented by Helen Smith of The Rappahannock Extension Office at 11:30 a.m. on Jan.24 and Denise Eastham of the Warren County Memorial Hospital-Health topic to be announced later at 1 p.m. on Jan. 26.

Personnel Committee To Meet
The Rappahannock County Library Personnel Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6 at the library.
Walk-in Clinics
Walk-in clinics at the Rappahannock Health Department for the month of January are from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4; 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 11 and 8:30-11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 24. For more information call 675-3516.
The Health Department will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17.
Community Calendars Available
The Rappahannock County Community Calendars produced by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department are available for purchase. The calendars contain many community organization’s activities and the school dates for the upcoming school year, as well as numerous birthdays and anniversaries. Calendars can be purchased for $3.50 for one or $5 for two. A special thank you to all the local businesses who bought ads for the calendar.
