The Artists’ reception is scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Jan. 9. There will be an accompanying musical event, featuring Washington, D.C. jazz pianist Earl Blake. He will perform on his keyboard and present, musical pieces by Gershwin, Porter, Kern, Monk, Powell and others.
Mr. Blake has previously worked with other musicians, such as of Art Farmer, Coleman Hawkins and Bobby Hebb. He covered famous Greenage Village night spots such as Trudy Heller’s, the Dickens Room and Bird Land. The public is cordially invited.
