What fun we had boxing and delivering the packages. The look of gratefulness and joy on many of the mothers’ faces are memories we will hold dear.
Yes indeed, Rappahannock, there is a Santa Claus and may he continued to make glad the hearts of childhood. Its’ reassuring to know that he has some very special helpers such as Cheri and Martin, those that sponsor families through social services, and those that sponsor children through the Scholarship Program at Child Care and Learning Center. President Clinton’s nomination of Morton Halperin for Undersecretary of defense for democracy and Peacekeeping is puzzling. Surely he knows about Halperin’s past involvement in numberous left-wing movements and organizations, so why this nomination? Could it be becasue he is a Council on Foregin Relations (CFR) member, as are Clinton and his top advisers?
