LFCC Class at High School Aerobic Fitness I (Course . PED103) is the next class in the Office Systems Technology Program (Administrative Assistance Specialization) offered by Lord Fairfax Communtiy College at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. New Year's Zen Meditation Silent meditation will begin after supper at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 and end News Year’s Day at about 12:30 p.m. The retreat (sesshin) will be held in the parish house of Emmanuel Episcopal Church just off the interchange of Interstate Route 66 and Route 17 about five miles west of Marshall. The retreat is open to people of all faiths and will include both Christian and Buddhist liturgy. People wishing to spend the night should bring sleeping mats and bags and extra sitting cushions. People may also sit on chairs. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday. Suggested donations to the church is $10. Late comers may join the sesshin early in the morning on Saturday (5-5:30 a.m.) or during the morning rest break (7:30-8:30 a.m.) “Once you have joined the retreat, please stay until the end,” said a spokesperson.
