will not be left bearing the burden of traffic congestion and taxes, all for monetary gain. They ask how can their public officials so eagerly embrace Disney without seeing their proposal?
Do the concerns of the 30,000 daily visitors and new growth business supersede those of their current constituents? Will the cost of the red carpet laid out for Disney be so high that it would take 20 years of taxes to recoup? If officials think that thousands of minimum wage jobs are so important, then why do they not welcome Disney to their backyards, or more realistically, to a location that would not require all the new’ infra-structure and tax revenues needed by this project?

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Cheri and Martin Woodard of the Faith Mt. Co. for their generous donation of beautiful clothing, toys, and household items to some Rappahannock County families with young children in need.
Rappahannock is a beautiful county with quaint villages and rolling farms. However, tucked in the mountains and hollows are some families with true needs.
