Language Tutor Training
Literacy Volunteers of Fauquier County will host an English as a Second Language Tutor Training at its officed on Beckham at Culpeper next to the St. James Episcoapl Church (basement entrance to 65 Culpeper Street) Warrenton. from 6:30-9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29.
The workshop will instruct in several techniques of teaching conversational English in a group setting or one-to-one, and will teach a tutor how to play lessons around a student’s self-designed goals. Throughout the workshop, active students and tutors will tell of their learning and teaching experiences.

AA Meetings at Trinity
An Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is held at 8:30 p.m. every Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
Transplant Group To Meet
The Transplant Support Group meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month in the conference room of the Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West Street. This group is for transplant recipients, potential recipients and their families.
All persons meeting the criterion above are invited to participate, whether or not they have previously attended a meeting.

Free Yoga Classes
A loose and loyal group of yoga practitioners meet from 6-7 p.m. every Monday evening at the Middle Street Gallery. Anyone is welcome to come, beginners and advanced.
