tensive lava caves, boulder caves, sea caves formed by wave action, and even ice caves formed by streams in glacial ice.
Caves may be bare, but more often they are decorated with stalactites, stalagmites, and other formations. There may. be delicate little grottoes or huge rooms. The cave may be inhabited by bats, fish, insects, or other life.
