John Frohnmayer has a deep concern for the place of art in educational institutions, its function in enriching our society and its ability to articulate the creativity of our diverse population.
Cultural expression is as important to the minorities among us as it is to Anglo-Saxon and other European elements whose cultural preferences have largely dominated the national scene. With an increasing multi-cultural population, we as a people will continue to be called to make decisions about the relationship of the arts and our government. Mr. Frohnmayer’s has become an important voice in an area of our social development as a people-our culture-where discussion and thought grenerate new ideas.
