The Rappahannock County Extension Office has announced plans for the 1994 4-H Share the Fun Contest. It will be held at 7:30 p.m. on ( Friday, Feb. 25 at the Rappahannock County High School. Rehearsals will be on Saturday mornings, 911 a.m. on Feb. 5, 12 and 19 at the High School. Mrs. Hazel Zinn-Day, leader for our 4-H Cloverbud Club, will be director of the 1994 show. “Mrs. Zinn-Day brings a lot of expertise and enthusiasm to our 4-H Share the Fun Show this year,” stated Helen Smith, Extension Agent. “When Hazel was a teenage 4-H member in Culpeper County, she was a state winner in 4-H Share the Fun,” she continued. “We feel very fortunate that she is willing to be director of our show and coach for tHe children preparing their acts.”

The Share the Fun Contest is a 4H performing arts project for children. They learn about performing before an audience, costumes, makeup, poise, etc.

Youth ages 9-19, plus 4-H Cloverbuds ages 5-8, are eligible to participate. The categories are Vocal, Dance, Instrumental, Drama, Variety (which includes puppetry, clowning, baton twirling, karate routine,1” etc.), the Combination (acts which include two of the above classifies-? tions. 1
