Trapezoid’s new album captures the rhythm, richness and beauty of country life. Haunting songs such as “This Road” and moving instrumentals such as “Rappahannock,” written by Mr. Reisler for a PBS program entitled “Rural Communities: Legacy and Change” are testiment to Mr. Reisler’s deep affection for the country.
“All of my music comes from the 25 years I have spent living in rural America,” he said. “Our music comes from our lives here in Rappahannock. It’s what we had to do because it is who we are. ”
The Saturday concert at the Fauquier High School auditorium begins at 8 p.m. Tickets for the concert are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Locally tickets are available at Mountainside Market and the Earth Gallery in Washington, at Culpeper Music in Culpeper and various Warrenton outlets.
