Heart Fair Planned
The Rappahannock County Health Department is sponsoring the fourth annual Heart Fair on Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb. 14 during the hours 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.
Free blood glucose screenings and blood pressure checks will be offered as well as information on how to reduce your risk for heart disease. Blood cholesterol screening will be offered for a $5 fee.
The Rappahannock Extension homemakers will be offering an exhibit on new food labeling laws and how to interpret food labels. For more information contact the Health Department at 675-3616?
Talent Show Auditions
Auditions for the first annual homegrown talent show to benefit the Fauquier Free Clinic, Inc., will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Warrenton Jr. High. All singers, musicians, poets, magicians, dancers and storytellers are invited! Call 676-3946 for more information.

' Open House Rescheduled
The St. Luke’s School Open House has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3. Anyone interested in finding out what St. Luke’s School has to offer is invited to attend from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3. Come learn about St. Luke’s expansion project: new gymnasium, new classrooms and the addition of a 7th grade. St. Luke’s School offers pre-school through 7th grade. St. Luke’s admits students without regard to race, color, national and ethnic origin.

The Madison-Rappahannock Area Fruit School will be held 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10 at Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria. l \

Spring Concert Planned
Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society spring rehearsals begin Jan. 31. The May concert, ‘Love’s Sweet Song’ will offer love songs, jigs, spirituals-just for fun. Professional vocal instruction will also be offered on a limited basis to those interested in touching up their skills.

Home Appliance Program
What’s new with home applicance will be the topic of the leader training program for Extension Homemaker at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the Extension Office. Beverly Butterfield, Extension Agent in Fauquier County will present the educational program. The public is invited to attend.
