Woodrow Wilson (Wilbur) Fincham Sr., 73, of Culpeper died on Friday, Jan. 28 at his residence.
He was born in Rappahannock County on Dec. 14,1920.
He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
He served in the U.S. Army.
His parents were the late Lewis Fincham and Lucy Leake.
He is survived by five daughters, Patricia House of Appomattox, Gaye Foshcini of Raphine, Gloria Hoffman of Culpeper, Brenda Fincham of Culpeper and Bonnie Johnson of Greensboro, N.C.; two sons, Woodrow W. Fincham Jr. and Michael S. Fincham, both of Culpeper; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jane Latham of Culpeper, Anna Mae Jenkins of Culpeper and Gladys Lilian Bowen of Falls Church and one brother, Arthur (Buck) Fincham of Culpeper.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. John S. Farrar and the Rev. Mason H. Hutcherson officiating. 1
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery with full military honors and military pallbearers.
Pallbearers were Sam Aiken, Eddie Bryant, James Hudson, Rodney Bywaters, William Partlow, Dickie Clore and Peewee Bennett.
