The departure of Gary and Renee Leake from the high school athletic and physical education program will leave quite a hole, but that’s partly why they’re leaving.

They taught eighth, ninth and tenth grade physical education to all high school students. In addition Mr. Leake coached girls’ varsity basketball, and boys’ varsity and junior varsity basketball teams last year. Mrs. Leake coached the boys’ junior panther basketball team and the girls’ softball team and did almost all the drivers’ education.

They live in Manassas, nearly an hour and a half drive away and have a two-year old son, Jordan. In addition Mr. Leake organized the Homecoming activities and the Alumni Basketball Tournament. He planned and carried out the two-week All Net Basketball Camp. This year for the first time Mrs. Leake orga-* nized and ran a one-week “Cover All
