Joseph F. Mills

Mr. Joseph Franklin Mills, 70, of Alexandria, died Sunday, July 31 at Newton D. Baker Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.

He was born in Huntly on March 15, 1924, the son of the late Joseph W. Mills and Susie Williams Mills. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Elson Mills. /

Mr. Mills was retired from Lord & Taylor in Fairfax County.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Franklin (Frank) Mills of Richmond; one sister, Eleanor Gieselman of Vernon Hill; one brother, George, O. Mills of Culpeper; a special friend, Tina Princi of Centreville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Cook officiating.

Interment followed in the Culpeper National Cemetery with £ill military honors.
