Apple Bobbing followed/ with Meghan Goshorn first, Julie Bennet second and Amy Krenytzky third.
Megan Goshorn won again in “Musical Buckets” with Jamie Quaintance second and Amy Krenytzky third.
In the leadline egg and spoon race Laim was first and Robbie second in the first heat, and Colin was first and Justin second in the second heat.
The adult version of this contest took longer as several riders successfully kept their eggs on their spoons through walks, trots, canters and sudden halts. In the first heat Kell Achenbach was first, Joy Best second, Darcy Mortimer third and Allen Olson fourth. In the second heat Megan Goshorn was first, Amy Krenytzky second and Lindsey Berger third.
“Ride-A-Buck” came next with riders bareback trying to keep a dollar bill under one leg. Amy Krenytzky was first, Kendra Strange second, Allen Olson third and Megan Goshorn fourth.
Kendra Strange was not to be denied after that winning the Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Knock Down and Out, and Bareback Jumping. Mr. Olson was second in the Barrel Race, Julia Yowell was third with Kell Achenback fourth.
Pole Bending produced the same order of finish.
In the Knock Down and Out, Luci Strange was second and Allen Olson third. Mr. Olson also came in second ill the bareback jumping contest.
The Rescue Race and Brookstick Polo were cancelled because the horses shied away from rescuing anyone or having brooms waving next to them.
“Gambler’s Choice” Jumping was i also cancelled when only Mr. Olson was game to continue. The others said they had to save their horses for a trail ride.
