Seeing the headline in your issue of July 28, 1994, “Sheriffs Department Praised,” I read with great interest the letter from Cory Koral as I had a similar case with a much different approach by the Sheriffs office. i
On June 14 between 6 and 6:30 a.m. someone driving on Route 640 shot and killed a sheep grazing in my pasture. I immediately called the SherifPs office and was told by "Sheila” this was a case for the animal control officer. Mr. Pullen came on the line to say he had a doctor’s appointment and couldn’t come; later he advised that a deputy would be coming to investigate and they did—six hours later. (I don’t know, what happened to Mr. Pullen; I have heard nothing further from him nor
