JORDAN RIVER FARM TOMATO SAUCE 2 tbsp. olive oil 2 onions, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb. ground beef 8 cups skinned and pureed tomatoes
Fresh basil Salt and pepper to taste Saute the onions and green pepper until soft. Add garlic and stir for two minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Pour in the tomatoes and mix well. Simmer until the sauce is reduced by half. Season with fresh basil or some pesto, and salt and pepper to taste. A little honey may be added to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. h
