To the Editor.

One of these bright and sunny days, we are going to wake-up and realize that: there will be no more privately owned real estate; the government will own all the undeveloped land; and we will be paying for the magnanimous gobble-it-up of the historic preservationists, the environmental conservationists, the air pollution controllers, the traffic congestion rulers, the land use tax recipients, the not in my back yarder’s (NIMBY’S), all the bam-booslers of fear and fright, the protect-ists, the PEC-ists, and the “holier than thou” predictors of gloom, doom and ticky tacky destruction, that we are being told Disney’s American will bring to Haymarket, Western Prince William County, and the mid-atlantic region. 1

Please forgive me, but its all horse manure right out of the bams of those elitists that don’t want their eight thousand square mile private preserve visited by the common hoy poloy (sic).

The bearers of this noxious mountain of drivel are trying to inflict a first class scam. If we, the normal taxpaying citizens continue to allow these characters of power and persuasion to pummel the Disney project with these outrageous and self-serving messages of monolithic devastation and not respond or retaliate, then we deserve our fate.

Disney’s America IS good for Haymarket, good for Prince William County, good for Virginia, and, yes, Disney’s America is good for us. So, pick up your pen, ring the phone, fax the facts, talk to your friends and > neighbors. But, most importantly, contact your supervisor, your legislator, your Congressman and let it be known that you favor Disney’s America.

Like the American dream—baseball, hot dogs, apple pie—Hail Disney!
