The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s annual meeting at Spring Mountain School did indeed turn into a celebration of Rappahannock as those attendihg joined the Friends of Gaia in dancing.
Robert Dennis, president of the Piedmont Environmental Council, received sustained applause when he got up to speak on the subject of opposition to the Disney’s America project, but he said he had come partly to thank the people of Rappahannock for their help in the fight.
