Mrs. Mattie Ball Fletcher will celebrate her 106th birthday on Wednesday, Nov. 23. In last weeks paper there was a mistake concerning Mrs. Fletcher's residence, Mrs. Fletcher is currently residing with her family at Thornton Hill outside of Sperryville. The community expresses best wishes to Mrs. Fletcher on her special day and our thoughts will be with her during the coming year.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cooper and sons of Jacksonville, Fla. were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark.
Miss Amanda Brown was a Friday night dinner guest of Miss Emily Taylor and her parents near Sperryville.
