The 1994 Northern Virginia Area Beef Production Program will be held on Dec. 15 at Whitestone Farmi in Aldie Virginia. The in-depth beef cattle management program has been planned to address current management issues for cow-calf and Stocker producers. We will be using live cattle for several demonstrations.
Whitestone farm is hosting the meeting again this year. They have a large heated facility with plenty of seating for our “classroom” sessions and a large party room for sponsor displays and exhibits. Part of the program will be conducted outside, so appropriate footwear and clothing will be the attire of the day.
Be sure to contact the Rappahannock Extension office at 675-3619 for a registration form. The registation fee of five dollars includes lunch and printed materials.
