It is time for the Board of Supervisors to give our election judges a break. They have to be at the polling palces well before 6 a.m. and can not leave until all the ballots have been tallied and accounted fori This means an 18-hour day is expected and all too often they are still hard at work well after midnight. i
Our precincts had the following number of voters before the last election: v
Amissville—698; Chester Gap— 243; Flint Hill— 553; Scrabble—704; Sperryville—654 and Washington— 760.
