On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3 and 4 the Town of Washington will again be filled with carolers in period costumes rambling about the streets laid out by George Washington in 1749.

The Town Hall bedecked iij holiday greenery will host the graceful colonial dancers in their elegant dances and splendid costumes.

Events are scheduled for the hours of noon to 6p.m. both days, with extra concerts and special dinners in the evenings.

Beginning at the Historical Society on Gay Street there will be walking tours of the Town throughout the two days. These tours will include a visit to what is regarded as the oldest log cabin in town, as well as one regarded as the nicest log cabin, with a stop-over to see the original ballroom at the Washington House.

Santas’ Bake Sale at the Town Hall will again offer exquisite culinary delights from the Inn at Little Washington. This is a once a year opportunity to purchase goodies from the Inn.
