5- 10 p.m.: Winter Dreams exhibition t opening, Studio 19.
6- 8 p.m.: Breyer horse signing, G. Whillikers, Warrenton Center.
6-9 p.m.: Wine & cheese tasting, The Town Duck.
6:30-9:30 p.m., Christmas in Historic Old Town: Kick off the season as Santa arrives in a horse-drawn carriage, escorted by dancers from The Nutcracker. The children’s shop in Gum Drop Square opens. The Girl Scout Choir and the Fauquier High Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will perform on the old courthouse steps. Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, sidewalk food and roasted chestnuts, as well as the holiday window displays in Old Town’s shops — many of which are hosting open houses.
