The Rappahannock County Extension Homemakers (now known as the “Association for Family and Community Education”) would like to thank the people of Rappahannock County who came out to support the Bloodmobile they sponsored on Monday, Nov. 7.
A special thanks goes to our faithful donors and an invitation is extended to those first time donors to return to donate blood in May, 1995!
We also thank the Washington Volunteer Fire Company for allowing us to hold the Bloodmobile there, and Alice Pullen for once again coming out to offer her specialties in the canteen.
The bit of time it takes to donate blood is easily offset by the knowledge that one is helping someone “out there” who may desperately
