Alice Beckwith Porter, 80, 0/ Washington died Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Surviving are seven children, Bessie Grigsby of Sperryville, Lawrence 0. Grigsby of Summerville, N.J., Robert B. Freeman of N. Plainfield, N.J., Donald L. Porter of Washington, John 0. Porter of Warrenton and Marilyn P. Price of Manassas; three step-children^ Lucy Porter of Washington, D.C., Jackie Porter of Woodville and Leroy Porter Jr. of Front Royal; one foster son, Robert L. Williams of Hawaii; 24 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 20 at Promise Land Baptist Church with the Rev. John Pendleton officiating.
