Mrs. Kelly would like to take the trip before New Year’s. Shannon is supposed to start back in school in first grade after the Christmas holiday. She will still be going to Culpeper two days a week for therapies, but Mrs. Kelly hopes her life can otherwise be normal.
There is also the question of how much time there is. Mrs. Kelly remembers how quickly the tumor ' grew last time. “Everything happened so fast. It’s real scary,” die said.

However, now “the noise level is terrible,” she said. “He has started way before dawn” and operates machinery on weekends also, she said. She agreed the place looks neater now and said she gets her firewood from Mr. Dove, but the noise keeps her from eryoying her property. “It’s not the peace and serenity we moved here for,” she said.
Mr. Dove said he operates from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the winter
