dancing three, four, or five couples move in patterns to lively music. They are performed by Elizabeth Lee Barnes with the Demonstration Team of the Scottish Country Dance Society of Washington, D.C.

Traditional music for the evening is provided by Greg O’Brien on bagpipes, playing medleys made up of marches, slow airs, jigs, strathspeys, and reels. Greg O’Brien is Pipe Major of the Washington Scottish Pipe Band. Lorraine Duisit, Rappahannock’s* well known ballad-singer, formely with Trapezoid, sings folk songs of Scotland to her own folk harp accompaniment.

Tickets for the concert are $13.50 with reservation, $15 at the door. Children’s admission is half price. Reservations are recommended. Phone 675-1253.
