enough room on a bus for 72 children. They are worried about being able to undo them all. I honestly don’t think we have a bus in Rappahannock County that is that full.
The driver of the bus has a seat belt on. Is my son’s life not as important? If they are not going to give the children seat belts, stop telling them how important it is for them to “Buckle Up." You are confusing the small children and even some of the adults.
In this past week I have heard of over three bus accidents, with deaths. Seat belts could have probably prevented them. I want my son to have a safe ride to school. We should also try to enforce the laws instead of contradicting them.
It is possible for the buses to have seat belts installed. The small school bus that The Child Care and Learning Center uses has seat belts.
