Referees Needed Rappahannock Youth Soccer League needs referees, ages 14 to adult. A soccer Ref Clinic will be held at Germanna College on Nov. 17, evening and Nov. 18 and 19 daytime. All interested persons are encouraged to call Richard Price at 987-9428 for more information.

Retired Teachers To Meet Rappahannock retired teachers will meet at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Washington Baptist Church. Mr. John Harris, legislative chairman of District N will give the retirees information of upcoming legislature which will be of interest to them.
Theatre and Dance at Ki Theatre “Steps to the Edge” on Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 11 will feature two exciting new works by local performers at Ki Theatre. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at Cabin Fever in Washington or Mountainside Market in Sperryville, or call Ki Theatre at 675-1616. Advance tickets are $10; half-price for children.
Blood Drive Set A community blood drive will be held from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on ; Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Flint Hill Fire Station in Flint Hill. The drive is sponsored by the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers.
Sighting In Days at 4-H Center “Hunters who need a place to site in their Black Powder or high power hunting rifles are invited to Sighting In Days at the new range at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal. Sighting In Days will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12. Target ranges of 50 and 100 yards are available. The 4-H Center is located off U.S. 522 just south of Front Royal.
Buffet Breakfast Planned The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will have a buffet breakfast from 7-11 a.m. on Nov. 25. Breakfast will consist of sausage, bacon, eggs, gravy, baked apples, pancakes, biscuits, coffee and juice.
Wrestling Registration Set Youth Wrestling registration is set for Nov. 18 at Rappahannock County Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Grades five through nine practice sessions will be held at the elementary school. For information call Jon Heddleston at 987-8137 or Paul Partore at 937-5182.
