Rappahannock’s Lady Panther basketball teams finished their season on Halloween night, and they met scary George Mason teams in the process.
The undefeated Mustangs hounded the Panthers and went on to an 8521 final score on the strength of an impressive 27 point first quarter. Rappahannock was plagued by excessive turnovers against the strong George Mason trapping defense. Dawn Havstad led the Panther scoring with 6 points while seniors Brenda Swinkles and Cari Kerr added 4 each.
The Junior Varsity squad put forth a strong effort before falling to the junior Mustangs 42-27. Point
