Maggie Rogers’, all-girls’ team played a Fauquier team that they had played at the beginning of the season. The girls played their best ever, narrowly losing 1 -0. The opposing coach told Mrs. Rogers: “Boy, these girls have improved I can’t wait to play them next season.”
Jim Lofton’s U-8s played a Madison team, winning their first game 4-1 and losing their second with the reverse score.
The season will officially end with soccer banquet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at RCES. It will be a potluck, with each family contributing $2 towards banquet incidentals.
