smile. My only small criticism is that I wish she had painted her hands as well and as solidly as she executed her bare feet.
Be sure to take a close look at the landscapes in the conference room, especially “Rivers at Edisto.” June’s horizontal bands of bold color and quick painterly brushstrokes create the illusion of space. While you view this painting try to imagine what it would look like upside down.
