-The Amissville United Methodist Women’s Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 11. Items include an intricate hand-carving by Ronnie Poe from old wood left from the renovation of the sanctuary. It is on display in the Narthax of the church until Saturday. Silent bids will be received at the Bazaar (minimum of $25) or they may be submitted to one of the following contacts: Judy 937*3062; Pauline 937-4515, or Irma 937-4082.

Since this is the Year of the Angel, there will be lots of angels to choose from. There will be freshlymade apple butter (which I have tasted and it is delicious!); fresh pecans; crafts, especially for Christmas; baked goods; White Elephant table, and all the other usual goodies. There will be $ delicious lunch menu. They invite you to come browse, buy, and enjoy your day with them.
