the striker position and Bridget is an outstanding athlete at sweeper," Mr. Harris said. "They both have blazing speed; they run two to three miles per day before volleyball practice."
The twins, who are both first honor students, share similar interests and complement each other well on the courts and playing fields.
"We understand each other out there and get along real well," Bridget said.
In addition to their success in cross country, the Hickson twins, along with Elizabeth, helped the Owls to a third-place finish in the Delaney Athletic Conference basketball tournament last year and a second-place showing in a pre-season volleyball tournament last fall.
Kristin has played setter and Bridget has been a hitter for the volleyball team.
