Independent film producer Allison Argo said that the half hour film deals with, the declining frog population around the world and the reasons for it. It is, she said, a look at what frogs mean to us and the role they serve in, the world today. Frogs are very sensitive and can be an indicator of the health of the environment.
Besides the Rappahannock scenes, which Ms. Argo said will be shown near the beginning of the movie, other scenes were filmed in Oregon, South Carolina. Ecuador, England, Costa1 Rica and Australia. ;■
Also included in the National Geographic program are stories of the Bogong Moth in Australia, leeches malting a comeback as heroes of modem medicine, and alligator holes in Florida.^
