The varsity volleyball team defeated all of its Bull Run District foes in a tip-off tournament Monday evening at George Mason. > , "They rocked the district teams,"* JV player Lauren Sharp said of the Varsity win.
Tryouts began Nov. 11.
Laura Conklin returns to coach the .varsity and the JV is being coached by jtfie team of Leslie Nichols and Heidi Maeyer. - "The coaches are really good. They have a lot of experience and they can show us how to do things," one J.V. player, Janice Wilson stated. , Coach Conklin has a team of five .seniors and two juniors. They are Angela Atkins, Nancie Gallegos, Sarah Gentry, Kierstin Kerr, Courtney Mauro, Fran Overdorf, and Katy Paratore.
