like volleyball," Kristin said. "We also play beach volleyball together. In basketball, we both have always played guard."
"Their first year of playing on the basketball team in ninth grade, neither had played basketball before and they didn't win a game," Mrs. Hickson said. "They've gotten better each season, and this year they have an excellent new coach."
As rpuch as they have excelled in others, soccer is clearly the sport in which both girls — and the entire family shines the brightest.
"We run cross country and play basketball to get in shape for soccer," Kristin said.
College Bound
Next year both twins plan to join their older sisters at Franciscan University at Steubenville of Ohio, a small liberal arts Catholic school run by the Friars.
