Tree Lighting Ceremony
The annual tree lighting ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 at the front of the Rappahannock Courthouse in the town of Washington. Rev. Phil Bailey will officiate and there will be Christmas carols, etc. The community is invited to attend.
Christmas Celebration
A Bicentennial Christmas Celebration will be held in the Town of Washington on Saturday, Dec. 14. There will be a colonial parade, followed by opening ceremonies in the Town Hall at 12:15 p.m. There will be live musical performances, visit from S^nta, special appearance by George Washington, Christmas special at the shops and many, many other activities throughout the Tpwn. All are invited to attend this free day of fun and excitement.
