To the Editor:
We in the. Rappahannock Soccer League held our annual Awards Banquet on the evening of Nov. 16 at Rappahannock County Elementary School.
I would like to thank all the players and parents who attended that evening. We had a very good turnout with a lot of tasty dishes for everyone to enjoy.
The Rappahannock Soccer League is a volunteer organization, with the exception of our referees; so we depend on the willingness of parents to makfc the league run smoothly. This year we had more new volunteers than we've ever had before, which made the operation of the league easier.for all involved.
One of the hardest jobs in the league is that of a coach. It demands the greatest commitment of time and effort. Thanks to all the coaches who made this commitment and helped to make the '96 fall season a very sue-. cessful and enjoyable one.
